Athabasca University’s Faculty of Business is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor, Human Resources Management.
Successful candidates will be competent in the use of computing technology, demonstrate strong research skills, innovative approaches to teaching in human resources management, have substantial industry/management experience, and be able to make significant contributions to the development of the Faculty’s academic programs.

This position is a full-time tenure track position located within the province of Alberta. The successful candidate must be willing to move to Alberta to take on the position, if not already residing in the province.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will hold a doctorate in Human Resources Management and have a combination of demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, collegial contribution as well as hold significant industry/ management experience. We are interested in someone with progressive knowledge across a range of human resource management areas, at the strategic and functional levels and an interest with international human resource management. A professional HR designation (e.g., CPHR) may provide an advantage as will experience with online learning and a keen interest in, and willingness to use distance and online learning pedagogy is essential. Experience supervising doctoral students is also an asset as the successful candidate will be teaching across our program levels.
