The ASAC Case division invites both English and French submissions, in either the Regular Stream (full cases) or Cases in Development Stream.
For the Regular Stream, empirical cases (i.e., non-fictional cases with a clear decision focus), relevant for use in undergraduate or graduate programs, and an accompanying teaching note, should be submitted according to the Case Style Guide.
All cases must also include a Case Release Form that is submitted separately to the Divisional Editor.
For field cases based on primary research (e.g. interviews), the release must be signed by an authorized representative of the case organization. For secondary source cases, the case author must sign that no organization release is required.
Submissions will be reviewed through a peer-review process and authors will be notified of their acceptance status.
All selected contributions at the conference will be peer reviewed, with awards recognizing the best case(s) submitted.
Cases in Development Stream
For the Cases in Development Stream, we encourage cases where the work is in progress (e.g. interviews conducted) and guidance is being sought for structure, style, focus, or other elements of case writing.
To submit your work to this stream you must complete and submit the Development Stream Proposal Form, which includes a synopsis of the case you are developing and the areas in which you are seeking guidance.
