The Department of management of the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) has one opening for indeterminate full time Assistant- Associate Professor. The start date of November 15 is flexible to accommodate personal and professional circumstances but ideally, the candidate should be teaching for the winter 2022 semester. The rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The required qualification is a PhD or DBA from a recognized university in the field related to Management/ Business Administration.
This is a bilingual imperative position and RMC is therefore seeking a bilingual candidate able to meet the Canadian Civil Service second language standard of at least CBC/ CBC. Successful candidates will be expected to deliver courses in both official languages at the undergraduate and graduate levels (focusing in the following fields: General management and MIS/IT). Applicants must provide evidence of a strong teaching portfolio and a commitment to excellence in pedagogy. Recent experience teaching at the university level would be an asset.
The successful candidate will be expected to show initiative and develop an independent research program. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to make contributions through service to the department, the Faculty, the University, and/or the broader community. The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a university environment is therefore essential.
