The School of Business develops individuals to achieve leadership, management, global citizenship, and employability potential through business-relevant, research-informed education. The school offers degree, diploma, and certificate programs. Its Bachelor of Business Administration program is internationally recognized as one of the best business programs and accredited by EFMD.
The School of Business invites applicants for a one-year Limited-Term Faculty appointment. The successful applicant will be expected to teach a total of seven (7) sections, including BUS 201 (Human Resource Management), BUS 100 (Introduction to Business), and other lower-level HRM and/or Management courses.
There is an expectation that the successful candidate will engage in university and community service, and the promotion of programs offered by the school. The service requirement for this position is to support, advice, and accompany students to regional, national, and international competitions associated with the UFV Enactus club throughout the whole academic year.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a PhD or DBA in a relevant field from a recognized institution, preferably from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited institution, or solid indication of imminent completion. Applicants with a relevant Master’s degree and at least five years of employment in a leading position related to the position will be considered. Relevant post-doctoral or industrial experience is highly desirable. Applicants with demonstrated, effective teaching experience in courses relevant to the posting will be given priority.
