The Canada Research Chair on Entrepreneurial Career is looking for a post-doctoral researcher for the academic year 2021-2022 (expected to start in June 2021). This is a renewable position for three years, depending on financial availability. The position is full time but accommodations can be negotiated as needed. Salary conditions are competitive according to Canadian standards for postdoctoral researchers (salary to be negotiated according to profile).
The Chair is part of the Institute for Research on SMEs (InRPME) within the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières (UQTR). InRPME brings together a team of more than thirty researchers engaged in work relating to SMEs and entrepreneurship, as well as post-doctoral, doctoral, master and research professionals (www.uqtr.ca/inrpme). The Chair offers excellent opportunities for professional development in research, particularly through participation in major academic conferences (AoM, Babson, etc.) and opportunities for publication within structured and dynamic teams.
More generally, UQTR employs around 1,700 people and attracts an ever-growing number of students, exceeding 14,000 registrations (www.uqtr.ca). Its main campus is located in the city of Trois-Rivières. With a population of nearly 140,000 people, located halfway between the cities of Montreal and Quebec, the city of Trois-Rivières offers an exceptional quality of life, a cost of living among the lowest in Canada and a combination of remarkable cultural, sporting, artistic and social activities. The city and the campus are in a French environment, but most people can speak in English. This is a unique occasion to develop proficiency in French.
