ASAC 2027 Conference Details
June 25 -28, 2027 | Charlottetown, PEI
June 24, 2027 : Indigenous Colloquium
The McDougall Faculty of Business at the University of Prince Edward Island is hosting the ASAC 2027 Conference. We look forward to welcoming the ASAC community for an engaging conference featuring opportunities to share research, connect with colleagues, and participate in professional development activities. More details regarding registration, submissions, accommodations, travel, and the conference program will be shared soon.

Under the theme “The World Needs More Canada”, ASAC 2027 invites reflection on the role of business scholarship and academia in fostering dialogue, collaboration, evidence based thinking, and the exchange of ideas at a time of growing geopolitical uncertainty, conflict, and social division.
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, widely recognized as the birthplace of Canadian Confederation, provides a fitting setting for a conference centered on the value of coming together across different perspectives. The theme reflects qualities that help academic and business communities thrive: openness, inclusiveness, mutual respect, curiosity, collaboration, evidence based inquiry, and a willingness to engage thoughtfully, even when we disagree.
The theme invites participants to consider how these qualities may inform the way we study, lead, and manage organizations in an increasingly complex and interconnected world, while leaving room for different interpretations, critical reflection, and debate. These are the values that ASAC 2027 seeks to foster through its scholarly community, conversations, and conference experience in Prince Edward Island.
