The Department of Innovation and Marketing, Faculty of Business, Communication Studies and Aviation at Mount Royal University invites applications for a 2-year limited-term position in Marketing which will commence August 15th, 2026, subject to final budgetary approval, at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The preferred candidate must have the qualifications and experience described below:
A terminal degree (Ph.D., DBA, etc.) in marketing or a closely related field is preferred. A minimum of a Master’s degree is required.
Related industry experience in the field of marketing or related fields is preferred.
The successful applicant should demonstrate excellence in teaching.
Capacity to initiate and actively collaborate with colleagues, community and industry partners in work-integrated and experiential learning approaches to teaching at the undergraduate level.
Demonstrated expertise in marketing sufficient to teach courses at both introductory and senior levels.
Additional expertise in areas such as marketing analytics, marketing strategy, AI in marketing, and/or emerging trends in marketing is an asset.
