The Department of Management at HEC Montréal is recruiting a tenure track Professor in Project Management (Assistant, Associate or Full). The position starts on June 1, 2027.

Department of Management: HEC’s Department of Management is home to more than 50 faculty members with diverse disciplinary backgrounds and specializations (management, strategy, sociology, organizational behavior, leadership, CSR, etc.). The department has a 50-year history of strong commitment to high-quality teaching, pedagogical innovation and research. It offers a broad range of courses at the MBA, B.A.A., M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels. The department also hosts several Research Chairs.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Project Management, or a related field.
- Passion for teaching and interacting with students in various programs (B.A.A., MBA, M.Sc., Ph.D., Executive Education). Teaching experience is required (please attach your teaching evaluations).
- An established record of quality research and strong potential for research in Project Management.
The main language of instruction at HEC Montréal is French, and some courses and programs are offered in English. Proficiency in English is required to teach courses in this language, to communicate with non-French-speaking students, and to carry out certain research activities. The person must be able to teach and work in French after 2 years in the position. Substantial support will be provided by HEC Montréal to help achieve this objective, in an environment conducive to improving French language skills. It is strongly recommended that you mention any prior knowledge of French in your application file.
