Position description
– Research and/or teaching preferably in the areas of marketing strategy and planning,
international marketing, and the application of artificial intelligence in marketing;
– Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses;
– Supervise graduate students;
– Participation in teaching and administrative activities of the Department and the Faculty;
– Participation in academic activities, off-campus and abroad, that contribute to the
visibility of the University and the Faculty.
Selection criteria
Candidates must demonstrate the following:
– Hold a Ph. D. in Business Administration (preferably in Marketing). Doctoral students with
significant progress towards their degree (i.e., ABD) and candidates with a Ph.D. from a
related discipline who can demonstrate their capacity to teach marketing topics will also
be considered.
– Ability to conduct research leading to high-quality publications.
– Ability to teach university-level courses.
– Ability to teach in French. Candidates who are not fluent in French at hiring are expected
to be able to teach in French within three years of hiring.
– Ability to teach in English is desirable for some specialties.
– Mastery of English for research purposes.

Starting Date: June 1st 2027 or other date as agreed upon by the candidate and the
department chair.
