Dalhousie University, Faculty of Management – Assistant Professor, Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Business at the Ocean Climate Nexus

The Faculty of Management at Dalhousie University invites applications for a SSHRC Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Business at the Ocean Climate Nexus.

The successful applicant will be appointed in a tenure-stream position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in one of the eight departments in the Faculty based on disciplinary fit. The CRC will have the opportunity to collaborate with Canada’s Ocean Supercluster.

The CRC program was established by the Canadian Federal Government with the purpose of attracting outstanding researchers to the Canadian university system. Tier 2 Chairs are intended for exceptional emerging scholars (i.e. the candidate must have been an active researcher in their field for fewer than ten (10) years at the time of nomination). Applicants who are more than ten (10) years from their highest degree (and where career breaks exist, including maternity leave, extended sick leave, etc.) may have their eligibility for a CRC Tier 2 assessed through the program’s Tier 2 justification process. The Faculty of Management at Dalhousie University invites applications for a SSHRC Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Indigenous Prosperity and Economic Reconciliation. The successful applicant will be appointed in a tenure-stream position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in one of the eight departments in the Faculty based on disciplinary fit. The CRC will work in partnership with the Atlantic Indigenous Economic Development Integrated Research Program (AIEDIRP) at the Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat Inc (APC).

Mount Royal University, Faculty of Business, Communication Studies and Aviation – Assistant Professor (Accounting)

The Department of Accounting and Finance in the Bissett School of Business at Mount Royal University invites applications for a three-year term appointment in Accounting at the rank of Assistant Professor with the provision for reappointment subject to satisfactory performance in teaching and service and budgetary approval. The position will commence on August 15, 2025. This position will be hired into the Teaching-Service (TS) work pattern. The TS work pattern includes teaching (the equivalent of eight (8) three-hour classes per week each academic year) and service at the Department, Faculty, and/or University levels. The successful candidate is expected to teach courses on accounting data analytics and accounting information systems and to support the development of an analytics curriculum in the Accounting program.

The Faculty of Business, Communications Studies and Aviation has a student body of approximately 3,899 students and is composed of the Bissett School of Business, the School of Communication Studies, and the Aviation program with a Flight School. The School of Business hosts four departments: General Management & Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, International Business & Supply Chain Management, and Entrepreneurship, Marketing & Social Innovation. The School of Communication Studies consists of four majors: Journalism and Digital Media, Broadcast Media Studies, Information Design, and Public Relations.

University of Saskatchewan, Edwards School of Business – Limited Term Lecturer in Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a limited term lecturer position in the Department of Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour at the Edwards School of Business (ESB). The appointment is for a two-year term, effective July 1, 2025.

Description and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a teaching background in business communications with the ability to teach up to ten classes per academic year. The successful candidate will also be involved in revisions to the business communications curriculum and related courses in the Bachelor of Commerce program. A relevant graduate degree is required. The annual salary band for this position is $92,639 – $135,479.

The Edwards School of Business has an undergraduate business program with approximately 2,500 stu-dents with a growing graduate program.
